Strut Spacers: Did I Receive The Correct Sized Strut Spacer?

Did you receive the right sized strut spacer? How can you be sure this 1.25"-1.5" spacer is going to provide a 3" lift? Well, the crew here at TORCH receive this question almost daily and we finally reached out to a few friends to create a video that should explain why you received a spacer that is nearly half the thickness of the advertised lift. In the video, they provide a simple explanation on how a 1.25"-1.5" spacer provides a 3" front lift for your truck. Please take a look at the video and if you have any questions, feel free to message us directly for any additional information! -TORCH

Thanks for your question! It depends on the vehicle type and application, but a strut spacer would usually be at least 4 inches thick to create an 8 inch lift. However, if you’re going for an 8 inch lift, I don’t recommend going with a strut spacer as you would need to make major suspension modifications to fit the spacer.

For an 8 inch lift, I recommend using a combination of strut spacers, lifted spindles, and a body lift to achieve that height. Please contact us directly if you have any questions and thanks again! -TORCH
